WELCOME TO SOKIL ARTS ECO RETREAT

Sokil is a unique camping and accommodation provider, located within a peaceful valley, completely surrounded by the Great Otway National Park, with the Great Ocean Road and Anglesea- Aireys Inlet nearby. We are an easy 1½ hours drive from Melbourne (via the West gate freeway and Geelong by pass/from West Gate to our door you will only encounter 1 set of traffic lights).

With magnificent surf beaches, numerous world famous attractions and the lush rainforests of the Otways Ranges nearby, Sokil is the ideal base from which to
explore the West coast of Victoria.

Local activities include horse riding, canoeing, surfing, mountain biking, bush walking.

At Sokil all manner of groups and gatherings are welcome. Whether you are a School, University, Family, Healing, Meditation, Ethnic, Corporate, Wedding, party or social group we have the facilities and environment to suit. We are unique in our ability to facilitate such a diverse range of groups and activities.

The serenity of our bush location make Sokil the ideal place for those wishing to get
away from it all, yet not have to drive all day to get there.

On arrival visitors are treated to a private and beautiful Australian bush environment
with an abundance of natural flora and fauna set.

Kangaroos and Wallabies graze on our recreation areas and courtyards whilst parakeets fly in to feed in the afternoon.

The valley in which Sokil lies is recognized as a culturally significant site, cared for over
time by the original custodians of the land, the Wathaurong people. We ask all visitors to respect the land and native wildlife as did these people, and look to preserve the natural beauty for future generations.
